The cabin is in Cowee Ridge- a heritage Highlands gated community near Wildcat Cliffs Country Club and The Whiteside National Recreation Area. The Cullasaja Club and Highlands Cove Country Club are just moments away. The cabin is located just 5 miles from downtown Highlands and 10 miles to Cashiers, NC.

Decorated professionally, Whiteside cabin was built in 2005 and has modern amenities including a luxury kitchen, 'rustic' marble baths, a two-story beamed living room, custom solid oak floors and ceilings, a 1000 sq. ft. terrace level game/TV room. Built to a high finish level, the 'mountain lodge' decor offers exceptional appointments and comforts including custom bedding and window treatments. Expect 400 thread count sheets and other quality touches.The cabin sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms each with private baths. Master on the main with King bed. Bedrooms are on separate levels for privacy. Intimate, inviting and ideal for weekend getaways or extended stays, the cabin has awe inspiring views of Whiteside Mountain and Cowee Mountain.
Whiteside Cabin has 2500 sq. feet on 3 levels, plus 1500 sq. ft. of screened porches and decks.

HIGH PEAK SEASON - Memorial Day Week and June 15th - Sept 7th, & Oct. 15th - 30th, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New years. $350 per night, $2,195 per week, $7,750 mo.
PEAK SEASON: May 1 - June 15th - excluding Memorial Day, 4 nt minimum. $325/nt, $1,795/wk, $6,750/mo.
SHOULDER SEASON- April, Nov 1-20 & Dec 1-20, 3 Nt min. $295/nt, $1,595/wk, $4,450 mo.
WINTER SPECIAL: Jan 5th - March 31st, 3 nt min, $265/nt, $1,395/wk, $2,975 mo.
(applies only to Cowee & Creekside cabins, not including July, August or holiday dates)
Payment: Credit Card upon Reserving.
Pets: We adore pets, but appreciate learning about yours first.
Smoking: Limited to Outdoor Spaces,please.
Refund Policy: We're pleased to refund 90% of your payment if your cancellation is outside 30 days of arrival with a $50 cancellation fee. If inside 30 days, 35%. Within 21 days, 25%. Regrettably, we can not offer refunds inside 14 days, as it's difficult to rent vacation properties on short notice. However, if we can re- rent the cabin for the cancelled period, or a portion thereof, we will refund any amounts recovered from the new rental, less the 10% and $50 fee.

Main level master suite with new King bed and private bath w/ walk in shower. Terrace access.
Upstairs- suite with queen bed and private bath w/ walk in shower. Reading area off BR.
Downstairs- suite with queen bed and private bath with deep soaking tub/shower and private terrace.
Left: New 42" Flat Screen TV & DVD have replaced the one pictured. There is also o new custom glass front door. Also, wood Burning Fireplace has Gas Starter.
Hand cut rhododendron railing leads to upper level landing and bedroom.
Whiteside cabin is sited on 4 acres in Cowee Ridge, a heritage Highlands gated community and is just 7 minutes from 'downtown' Highlands, yet is convenient to Cashiers, NC.

We keep an Old Town Canoe on nearby Mirror Lake in Highlands for our guests. The paddles, keys and life vests are tucked away in the cabin. If you plan to use it, just bounce us an e-mail or call and we'll tell you how to find the canoe.
