The cabin is sited on nearly 4 private acres in Cowee Ridge. This heritage gated community is just 5 miles from 'downtown' Highlands, yet convenient to Cashiers, NC.
We keep an Old Town Canoe on nearby Mirror Lake in Highlands for our guests. The paddles and keys are tucked away in the cabin. If you plan to use it, just bounce us an e-mail or call and we'll tell you how to find the canoe.
The gas grill is on a fixed line, no tanks to refill.

Whiteside Cabin offers three levels - each with a wonderful view. Guests enter on the main level - only one step. The master bedroom & bath, living room, dining room, decks and screened porch are on this level. The lower level has a game room, bedroom suite, and laundry. The hot tub is on the lower screened porch. The upper level has a bedroom suite.
Yup, that's Whiteside Mountain in the distance!
The screened porch is peaceful and cool and has comfortable outdoor seating for 8 and porch seated table dining for six.
